RHEOLATE^® HX 6008

Highly Efficient Nonionic Synthetic Associative Thickener (NiSAT) for High Shear-Rate Viscosity Build in Water-Borne Systems

RHEOLATE HX 6008 is a 25% active high-shear (ICI) nonionic synthetic associative thickener (NiSAT) for aqueous applications. It develops high shear viscosity very efficiently with some mid-shear viscosity contribution in the newer very low-VOC demanding acrylic and styrene/acrylic latex systems, without sacrificing flow and leveling.

RHEOLATE HX 6008 also shows improved application properties in alkyd emulsion paints.

RHEOLATE HX 6008 contains very low VOC and is designed for use in latex paints and other waterborne systems where maintaining viscosity at high shear during product application and improved film leveling are required. The product is a pourable and pumpable liquid.

RHEOLATE HX 6008 can be used as a single thickener in small particle size latex systems or in combination with a co-thickener such as RHEOLATE 655 if more mid-shear viscosity is required.
