RHEOLATE CVS^®-15

Nonionic synthetic associative thickener (NiSAT) for mid-shear viscosity builder in waterborne systems

RHEOLATE CVS-15 is a 15 % active solids, nonionic synthetic associative thickener for aqueous applications. It is a next generation color viscosity stabilizer rheology modifier designed as a low-shear (KU) builder for low and zero VOC paints. Excellent efficiency and compatibility is achieved with most latex resins systems.

RHEOLATE CVS-15 provides paint formulations viscosity retention upon point-of-sale or in-plant color tinting in combination with excellent color properties such as improved color float resistance and greater color rub up performance. The product has superior sag and leveling properties which provide excellent application properties when applied with brush or roller, or when spray applied.

RHEOLATE CVS-15 is APEO, VOC, and tin-free. It is designed for water based decorative paints but can also be used in other water based systems including inks, textile coatings, adhesives and sealants. The product is a pourable and pumpable liquid
