Rheological additive excipient for OTC applications

GILUGEL SIL5 is a rheological gel which provides both stability and viscosity to the oil phase of OTC preparations.

GILUGEL SIL5 is composed of 20% Aluminum-Magnesium-Hydroxide-Stearate in a cyclomethicone carrier. The resultant gel behaves as a rheological modifier in the oil phase of formulations. Produced under cGMP conditions, GILUGEL SIL5 is an ideal excipient for viscosity control in OTC topical products while imparting a light, elegant feel.

In emulsion formulations, GILUGEL SIL5 provides improved stability while improving application aesthetics.
